How to Make DIY Paper Lanterns for Halloween

Use LED bulbs for your lanterns, which won’t overheat.

Supplies:

  • Paper lanterns
  • Craft studs (we utilised plastic so that the completed lantern would be lightweight)
  • Very hot glue or craft glue

    Techniques:

    1. Connect studs to paper lantern with glue and allow dry.

                            3. Paint a portion of the lantern with mod Podge, big sufficient to suit the paper slash out.
                            4. Lay the paper on top, applying your finger to clean out any air bubbles or wrinkles.
                            5. Enable dry.
                            6. Paint one or two added layers of Mod Podge on top and allow dry fully.
